2022 Youth Winter Olympics

We are going to take some time before the end of the year to talk about fresh starts and have some fun
together. This will be a time of connection, fellowship, team development, and above all connection to our Father.

What to Bring

  • Bible (Actual Book, if you don’t have one see Tyler and he will get you one)
  • Notebook and pens
  • Clothes for 2 days (NO NICE CLOTHES! Warm clothes that CAN GET DIRTY!  We will be in the mountains, and the average high for that area in December is in the 40s with some snowfall)
  • Toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush, hairbrush, feminine products if needed, etc)
  • Sleeping bag and pillow 
  • Games (card and/or board games)
  • Any snacks you would like to bring
  • Money for lunch going up
 

What not to Bring

  • Devices.  (We are going off grid this time and getting back to basics.  This does not apply to those that have a medical need.)

Wednesday:
9:00-9:30: Meet at church
9:30: Leave church
11:00-11:45: Stop for lunch at Chick-Fil-A  in Fort Payne
12:00: Load up and drive rest of the way
12:30-12:45: Cabin check in
12:45-3:00: Free time (board games, etc.)
3:00-7:00: Opening Ceremonies & Winter Games
     – Worship
     – Devotional
     – Get to know you games
7:00 – 8:00: Dinner
8:00 – 10:00 : Free time
10:00: Quiet time
10:30: Lights out
 
Thursday:
8:00-9:00: Breakfast
9:00-12:00: Outside 
   – Capture the flag, Cornhole, etc.
12:00: Lunch
12:30 – 3:00 Free time (board games)
3:00-7:00: Winter Games
    – Worship
    – Devotional
    – Games
7:00 – 8:00: Dinner
8:00: Prizes
8:30 – 10:30: Free time (board games)
11:00: Lights Out

7:30: Rise and Shine
7:30-8:30 : Breakfast
8:30-9:30 Pack up to leave
